Artist
Carrie Scroggins
“Based in Seattle, Carrie Scroggins is a watercolor artist who primarily paints seascapes and landscapes inspired by the Pacific Northwest. Originally from Arizona, she draws inspiration from the boats, coastlines, and ever-changing water that now surround her—elements that felt distant and mysterious growing up in the desert.
Before turning to painting, she spent over a decade exploring the world through photography, a practice that continues to inform her eye for composition. While watercolor is her primary medium, she has also worked with acrylic to experiment with color and depth.”
